Is junk media making you sick??? Sound bytes are meant to be appetizers, teasers to whet your appetite for the full story. They were never meant to fulfill all of your daily requirements for real information. Unfortunately, Big Media seems intent on force-feeding us a diet of nothing but snack food. We’re being fed news as entertainment – which does a disservice to both news AND entertainment. They’re giving us a Tabloid Election and televised war games in place of real information that would help people understand how the issues and the candidates’ stances on those issues will affect each and every one of us in our everyday lives.
